Eurydice Kefalidoureceived her PhD in Classical Archaeology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and then she did postdoc in the Universities of Oxford and Florence.
She has worked at the Archaeological Service in many local Archaeological Services and the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki.
Sthe has conducted many rescue and systematic excavations, organised museum storerooms and recorded antiquities, organised educational programs and experimental workshops and participated in the preparation and organisation of many temporary exhibitions.
Research Interests
Ceramic studies, iconography and ceramic technology, potteyr workshops and experimental archaeology (pottery workshops).
Current research
Study and publication of Attic black-figure and red-figure vases from the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki
Study and publication of pottery assemblages from Argilos, Thessaloniki and Chalkidice (focussing on the local 4th century red-figure pottery of Chalkidice).
